ABBA Voyage is like no other concert ever seen, a concert experience featuring digital avatars of the iconic Swedish pop group Abba performing their greatest hits. The concert takes place in a purpose-built arena in London and uses cutting-edge technology to create a visually stunning and immersive experience. The show is a blend of virtual and physical elements, with the digital ABBA avatars backed by a live band.  Digital Avatars ABBA Voyage features digital versions of Agnetha, Björn, Benny, and AniFrid, created using motion capture technology and appearing as they did in their 1977 prime. Live Performance: The avatars are backed by a live band, blurring the lines between the digital and physical worlds. Kynren - An Epic Tale of England Kynren – An Epic Tale of England is the UK’s ‘must see’ spectacular outdoor live action show. The multi-award-winning live action outdoor theatre spectacular is set in the beautifully landscaped grounds of Kynren, nestled at the bottom of the escarpment on which Auckland Palace, Bishop Auckland, proudly sits, and takes guests on a spellbinding journey through two thousand years of history, myth and legend, as we join young Arthur on his epic quest.  Gates open at least two and a half hours before the start of each show.  Pre-dinner drinks can be purchased from our bar on an exclusive lakeside terrace with views of Auckland Palace. Travel back in time and visit the Viking Village! You'll be able to talk and interact with the villagers as they go about their daily lives, visit the cookhouse, see them tend to the animals, prepare meals and watch the blacksmith at work in his forge producing real chainmail! Northumberland is best known for its rich historical heritage and stunning natural landscapes.   Due to its location at the frontier between England and Scotland, Northumberland boasts a uniquely rich and intricate history, including the Border Wars. This history is still visible today, with over 70 castle sites still standing – more than any other county in EnglandAlnwick is like stepping into a fairytale town.   Just a short walk through Alnwick’s winding cobbled streets and past the archway of Bondgate Without, the only remaining chunk of the town walls, will take you to Barter Books, the largest second hand book shop in the UK.  Settle into an armchair by the open fire and grab yourself a coffee as you immerse yourself in the literary world while toy trains chug above you.  There is also Alnwick Market, which is held every Thursday and Saturday. The market takes place in the town's market place. HexhamHexham is a small market town built with some of  buildings made from the remains of Hadrians Wall with more than 1,300 years of history, outstanding architecture and easy access to some the most beautiful scenery.  Hexham has some lovely buildings including Hexham Abbey, which was founded in 674 in the centre of this market town. Its Saxon crypt, constructed partly from stone taken from nearby Roman forts is among the oldest intact structures in Britain.  The abbey survived Henry VIII’s Dissolution of the Monasteries.  Hexham Old Gaol, dating to 1333 is recognised as the first purpose-built prison in England. Built using stone from the Roman site at Corbridge, the gaol now operates as a heritage museum. Hexham sits at the centre of Hadrian’s Wall Country.  Hexham Farmers’ Market takes place on the second and fourth Saturday of every month and is well regarded for its local and regional produce. Hexham has been used in many a t.v show such as Vera and is home to the Actor Robson Green. The river itself is a draw for walkers and nature lovers, with trails that pass waterfalls, woodlands and open meadows.  Richmond is also home to museums, such as the Green Howard Museum and cultural spaces that celebrate local history and creativity. Come and enjoy a jam-packed break to Scotland to see the internationally renowned world famous Edinburgh Tattoo with plenty of time to explore Edinburgh and a chance to see the worlds largest equine sculptures - the majestic Kelpies, Stirling City, home to medieval kings, Falkirk and the Capital City of Edinburgh with stops en-route both ways in Jedburgh and Moffat.Day One (Friday)We depart the local area travelling to the Scottish Borders, arriving late afternoon at the Leapark Hotel in Grangemouth for our 3 night stay with a stop en-route at Jedburgh(evening meal included)Day Two (Saturday)After a late morning start at leisure and a full Scottish breakfast.  We make our way to the capital city of Edinburgh where we enjoy free time exploring the city.  The city is dominated by the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, an ancient fortress built on a volcanic crag.  It is the most visited attraction in Scotland.  Other attractions worth a visit are the gardens on Princes Street, the Royal Mile, which leads down to the Scottish Royal Palace Holyrood House, the oldest department store in Scotland Jenners and the old town.   Dinner is Not included tonight, so we encourage you to enjoy dinner in the city prior to taking your seats at the internationally renowned Edinburgh Tattoo high up in the Castle. Where you will be stunned and taken in by the spectacular performances, so expect anything and everything - from Highland dancers, fiddle players and steel bands to martial art performers and daredevil motorbike acrobatic displays and the marching bands of worldwide regimental units and their pipers with the grand finale featuring Auld Land Syne and a spectacular firework display.  The Tattoo is a stunning event that gets bigger and bigger every year!(No evening meal - due to the tattoo) - tattoo ticket included.Day Three (Sunday)This morning after a leisurely full Scottish Breakfast we depart the hotel and travel the short distance and a stop at the Helix to visit the largest Equine Statues in the World, The Kelpies (our local claim to fame, built in Sherburn-in-Elmet) before enjoying a ride on the World Famous Falkirk Wheel, then on to the pretty town of Falkirk to explore and enjoy lunch.  Day FourAfter a leisurely breakfast we depart our hotel and make our journey back home with a stop en-route at Moffat.  AccommodationThe Leapark Hotel, is a family-owned hotel in the historical port of Grangemouth, within 3 miles of The Kelpies and 7 miles from the Falkirk Wheel. Stirling is a 25 minutes' drive away.  The en-suite rooms feature modern decor, tea/coffee making facilities and Freeview TV.  (No evening meal on the Saturday - due to the tattoo) Time in Edinburgh prior to the show to have dinner - tattoo ticket included.
