About Us
The Journeys Holidays Team are a small family run company, based in Monk Fryston between Leeds and Selby. We started up in 2023 and have been providing Coach Day Trips, Short Breaks and Coach Holidays, across The UK, Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Europe. We pick up in our local area, Selby District and surrounding villages, Monk Fryston, South Milford and Sherburn in Elmet as well as Whitley and Eggborough.
We also provide either of our coaches for Private Hire or Private Group Bookings, on request at competitive quotes. Please email, complete our private hire form on our website or call us for a quotation.
We are full bonded for the customers safety with both Tour Operators Insurance, Motor Insurance and Employers and Public Liability Insurance. We are members of the UK Coach Operators Association and the RHA Road Haulage Association - Coaches Branch. As well as being a member of our local business group "We are Sherburn"
We have two coaches for both our tour work and private hire work.
Our coaches are both full-sized executive coaches, one is a 42 seater with extra legroom and a kitchen and the other coach is an executive coach with wheelchair accessible lift to the front axle, capable of taking one manual wheelchair ♿
Our Luxury Executive Coach is a 42-seater Irizar I6 integral and comes with a fully fitted kitchen where we serve refreshments on our day excursion and holiday program. A centre WC, the coach is fully carpeted, fully air conditioned with an excellent ventilation system. Foot and Arm rests. Double skinned reclining comfortable seats, DVD and monitors and CCTV for full security. The coach has extra legroom for the customers comfort. This is a Luxury VIP Club Class Vehicle.
Our Executive Coach is a 53/55-seater Irizar I6S integral with comfortable seats, arm rests, air-con and clean air ventilation system, Aisle carpet, DVD monitors, USB charging points at each seat, centre WC and is fully PSVAR accessible for wheelchair users.
We have a wealth of experience in the coach industry, both with PCV driving experience and also with Tour Management experience with a combined experience of 53 years working across the UK, Europe and even into Eastern Canada 🍁.
Our drivers and tour managers are fully uniformed and DBS checked. Our coach is of the highest standard and is equipped with both safety and comfort in mind.
Our vehicles are maintained to the highest possible standard, undergoing stringent maintenance checks, during its 6 weekly inspections by our fully qualified PCV technicians.
Our coach is cleaned inside and out to a very high standard. We are a strong believer in the fact that passenger safety, reliability and customer service should not be compromised.
Our aim is to give you a well planned and enjoyable holiday, short break or day excursion with the added extra of a Tour Manager/Coach Hostess
on-board to assist the driver, who will give a small amount of commentary, serve drinks and snacks and be available to help with any queries.
