Lytham St Anne and the beautiful Ribble Valley
Let your hair down and enjoy a 5-day Mistletoe & Wine Break staying in the pretty twin towns of Lytham St Anne - The perfect getaway with all the trimmings of an early Christmas Break.
Lancashire’s coast is steeped in history and heritage and towers above many others for sheer variety
Our base on this Pre-Christmas Mistletoe & Wine Break is the traditional seaside resort of Lytham St Anne, is the perfect seaside destination. Lytham St Anne, although right next to each other, are worlds apart in both character and atmosphere. Home to a fine promenade, a beautifully restored Victorian pier, miles of unspoilt, expansive sandy beach, elegant parks and floral gardens, old half-timbered buildings, quaint shops and the famous Lytham Green and Windmill, the dual seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes continue to remind us why we all love the British seaside so much.
You will be staying in the popular and ideally located "Inn on the Prom Hotel", overlooking the Sea Front. You will have plenty of time to explore and relax in Lytham St. Annes, but you can also join our great included excursions.
Discover and scare yourself silly at one of the most haunted historic houses in Britain, Samlesbury Hall, dating back to the 14th Century initially is reputedly one of the most haunted houses in Great Britain, with 13 different ghosts which haunt the historic manor and the grounds around it. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, is entirely up to you, but there have been many hundreds of reports from guests, staff and former inhabitants of the house which date back centuries. Following our visit we aim to calm you down with a wonderful drive through the Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty the Ribble Valley overlooked by Pendle Hill with its stories of witchcraft and final outcome of the Pendle Witches.
A free day to explore all that Lytham St Annes has to offer with its beautiful Victorian Twin towns with Christmas Cake and Minced Pies with Coffee/Tea to be served at the hotel in the afternoon.
Last but not least, we head to the pretty town of Cleveleys before making our way back down Blackpool Promenade with its multitude of glorious illuminations, one of the most iconic sights in Britain arriving back at the Hotel in time for our evening meal and the New Years Eve evening entertainment.
