Lynton & Lynmouth We spend some time in the picturesque villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, known as England's "Little Switzerland". The twin villages of Lynton & Lynmouth are idylic villages. Lynton is a small Victorian Town and Lynmouth a historic fishing village. Linking the two towns is the unique, water-powered cliff top railway. Lynton & Lynmouth are the perfect destinations for those seeking unforgettable experiences, the funicular cliff railway between the two villages is the perfect way to see both villages and with a selection of quirky independent shops these villages are wonders to behold.
Woolacombe & Barnstaple There is so much to explore in this pretty little village with shops and beaches, not forgetting its picturesque harbour and Woolacombe's great expansive beach. Relax and sit on one of these magnificent beaches or take a stroll on the coastal path to see the beautiful views the Devon coastline has to offer. It is a small coastal village, with plenty of things to see and do - shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, amusement arcade, cinema plus lots more. Along with Woolacombe we visit the lovely market town of Barnstaple with its covered pannier market place and collection of independent shops this is a pretty town to visit.
