Cleveleys and the Blackpool Illuminations
Come and enjoy a day out with a wonderful visit to the Lancashire town of Thornton in Cleveleys - otherwise just known as Cleveleys. This pretty town is worth a visit with its golden blue flag beach, shops, amusements and wonderful cafes and fish and chip restaurants it is well worth a visit. We follow this by taking a ride down the Blackpool Promenade, as soon as it gets dark and the lights are switched on - approx 5pm.
The illuminations take approx. 1.5 hours to view all and we start our run as soon a they are switched on at 5pm. Our day, therefore will be a late start in the morning, arriving in Cleveleys in the afternoon and then the run through the illuminations before our journey home.
We estimate time of arrival back in the local area to be approx. 9pm-10pm (dependent on traffic and drop off points).
